Features: This award winning winery was built entirely with suspended concrete floors and ICF due to its natural energy efficient properties. Maintaining constant ambient temperatures in the storage and wine press rooms was a key concern for the client. Greyfield was able to deliver an airtight building that significantly reduced the flow of heat through the walls caused by thermal mass advantage, ensuring optimal temperatures for the wine. Radiant in-floor heating and conventional split cooling resulted in an energy efficient, sustainable building that is able to achieve near net-zero status.
